Charting a Path to Prevention: Fidelity One-on-One Consultations

The closer you get to retirement, the more you realize how different this next part of your life will be. You may be realizing that you need some extra advice to prepare. But due to pandemic-related closures and social distancing guidelines, stopping into your local Fidelity office for retirement advice may not be possible. Don’t worry, Fidelity is still here to help.

Beginning in September, Fidelity will be offering Transocean employees an option for virtual
one-on-one retirement consultations. Meetings will take place via video phone calls, just like your telemedicine solution. But instead of health advice, a Fidelity representative can help you develop your own comprehensive retirement plan that integrates your workplace savings plans with your overall financial goals.

What’s Included

During your 45-minute consultation a Fidelity representative will review your financial situation and help you identify next steps to staying on track. And you don’t have to go it alone. Your spouses or other family members can participate on the video consultation call with you.

Preparing for Your Consultation
In order for your representative to properly assess your needs, before your consultation please gather and have available statements for your retirement and savings accounts. Documents may include:

  • 401(k) and 403(b) statements from Transocean and any former employers
  • Statements from other investments such as brokerage accounts, IRAs, any mutual funds, and other bank accounts

Before your appointment, visit the Fidelity Planning & Guidance Center and update your Planning Profile.
