Your Benefits at Work: Women’s Pregnancy and Fertility Services

Whether you’re are already pregnant or you’re trying to start a family, getting the support and medical care you need along the way can make all the difference. Transocean offers two women’s health benefits to ensure you have a healthy path to parenthood:

  • Healthy Pregnancy Program, which offers maternity nursing support and other resources to those enrolled in our UnitedHealthcare (UHC) medical plan.
  • Progyny, a comprehensive benefit for employees and their dependents who are having challenges with fertility.

The road to becoming a parent can take a physical, emotional, and financial toll, and these benefits provide access to professionals who specialize in helping women and their partners wherever they are in their journey.

UHC’s Healthy Pregnancy Mobile App

If you’re pregnant and enrolled in the UHC medical plan, you will already have comprehensive benefits for all of your prenatal care, delivery, and hospitalization expenses. But the Healthy Pregnancy program app gives you an additional level of support to help you get answers to your questions and monitor progress throughout your pregnancy and after giving birth. Here are just a few of the tools available through the Healthy Pregnancy program:

  • 24/7 nurse support to give you quick answers to your questions and provide personalized assistance throughout your pregnancy.
  • Personalized tracker to stay on top of your pregnancy milestones based on your due date.
  • Pregnancy tools and information, which includes a search feature for pregnancy symptoms and concerns, videos showing a baby’s growth, and tools for monitoring your weight and your baby’s movements.
  • Link to your UHC pregnancy benefits, including a cost estimator feature that will allow you to plan for your care and delivery.

To get started in the Healthy Pregnancy program, call UHC at 1-800-765-6731. Then, download the UnitedHealthcare Healthy Pregnancy app in the Apple App Store or the Google Play store to begin taking advantage of the program’s tools and resources.

Having Fertility Challenges?

Sometimes the path to parenthood is more difficult than we imagined. To help, Transocean gives you access to a premier network of leading fertility specialists, the latest technologies and treatments, and personalized emotional support through Progyny, a comprehensive fertility benefit program. Once you get started with the program, it covers:

  • Three “Smart Cycles” of fertility treatments (per family), which include, but are not limited to services like preimplantation genetic testing, in-cycle monitoring and management, fertilization (such as IVF or IUI), and anesthesia.
  • Two initial consultations per year with top-notch fertility specialists who are part of Progyny’s broad provider network.
  • Coverage for fertility medications, which are coordinated with your treatment through Progyny RX, Progyny’s specialty pharmacy services.
  • Fertility preservation (i.e., freezing eggs) so eggs can be used throughout the treatment process or, if you're not ready to conceive yet, at a future date.

As you’re receiving treatment, you also will have access to a patient care advocate (PCA) who will provide personalized clinical and emotional support, Progyny’s member information portal, and other emotional support tools and resources.
